Our new baby is finally here, and we want to use the power of the web to share the experience. We'll put our favorite
pictures on this site and give some information on how the birth went and how we're all doing now.
Amber and I had to be at the hospital by 5am. We got there and was put on some monitors to see how little Natalie was
doing. About 7:30am they started getting me all preped up for surgery. There were a lot of staff with a good sense of humor
in there, which calmed me down a little bit. After the spinal block they layed me down on the table and put up a shield so
that I couldn't see what was going on. Amber sat next to me and held my hand as she told me in very descriptive words what
was happening. There was a lot of pushing and pulling and finally there was that lovely sound. Natalie Ann was born. Her cry
echoed through my ears. After they took her to get measured and stuff, they continued to work on me. Tying my tubes and closing
me up. I was then wheeled into the recovery room, and wasn't able to see little Natalie for about 4hrs or so. She had rapid
breathing problems. So they had to keep an eye on her with some monitors and stuff. But when they finally brought her in the
room, I couldn't be happy enough. She was so beautiful! I never wanted to let her go. Jericho showed up after work and held
her for the first time. You could see the love in his eyes. And to this day he can't seem to put her down! He is
a very proud papa! The birth was a success, she is fine now, and now we'll see what the future brings!
